What happens when I run out of credit?
Free reads keep working. Paid calls return a structured payment_required error with a top-up link the agent can show you. Re-run the call after topping up.
What if a paid call fails?
Failed paid calls auto-refund your wallet. The refund shows up in your request log and credit ledger.
Can I cap how much an autonomous agent spends?
Yes. Every API key supports a daily and monthly spend cap. Set them when you issue the key on /account/api-keys. Enforced server-side, hard-stops past the cap.
Subscriptions?
No. Pay-as-you-go only. Bulk top-ups get a small bonus credit — that's the closest thing to a discount.
